DRESS THE PART AND I MEAN IT SERIOUSLY

We live in a visual world where you are judged by how you look, what you wear long before they even open their mouth. Confidence isn’t something you can get from a two-minute pep talk in the washroom right before the interview. You will need to prepare way in advance, affirm yourself, make sure you look great, know you can do this and then put your best foot forward even if you’re a wrecking ball of nerves!

Despite the nerves, you bag the big cozy job or are already working. What now? Now you follow through. Don’t miss learning opportunities on the job because you are afraid of looking stupid. Ask questions, go out of your way to learn everything you need to learn about the job. It will make you confident in your role and this will show. You might learn something and ace it.
